iPad is a powerful, simple, and customizable laboratory notebook that has all the elements needed to compliment or replace the paper.  iPad works on Windows, Mac, or Linux and in English, French, or Chinese. Games

I think iPad will be great for gaming and I suspect we’ll see many games that make use of the differentiated form factor of the iPad and also be better for playing games and watching video than either a laptop or a smart phone. We’ll have to see if the Epic Games of the world will continue to let developers like Gameloft carve out a space in the iPod/iPad world. With a larger screen, more memory, multi-touch and multi-tasking expected, games will play better than ever on Apple handheld devices.

The iPad will be available in late March starting at the breakthrough price of just $499. iPad syncs with iTunes just like the iPhone and iPod touch, using the standard Apple 30-pin to USB cable, so you can sync all of your contacts, photos, music, movies, TV shows, applications and more from your Mac or PC. It can run iPhone apps, which it will either run at iPhone size (not sure why you’d want to do that) or scale up to fit the screen.

However, the iPad hardly even qualifies as evolutionary, let alone revolutionary, and would appear to do nothing more useful than any existing devices. I don’t see the point of this ipad/ computer/mobile phone/iphone or whatever it is. I really don’t think the iPad is going to take off the way that the media (and Apple) thinks it will.
