I think Natal does what the Vision Camera & Headset does, so hopefully they’ll make it use Natal’s camera instead of the Vision Camera, and the thing for sound in Natal in place of the Headset. I don’t want to have to buy the Vision Camera for a game just because it’s too stupid to recognize and use the camera in Natal, it’s just a camera, it shouldn’t matter what gives it the picture to display.
Same for the headset, shouldn’t matter what supplies the sound it uses for your voice chat.

Natal is not meant to replace the controller, just make it so you can say commands for example, and have it do them, or to simply do gestures, and something happen. Most game will use both Natal and the controller, however, most games using the controller will only use voice and video for example, and not gestures, since u can talk while playing easily, but doing gestures while using a controller would be annoying.

@drcool41 I assume the skateboard scene is what you’re referring to, but it does work actually, and why do I say this? It’s because if it saw that part of the skateboard, even in only 1 frame, it will be able to put it together correctly. It takes 30 frames per second with Natal, so, given that the skateboard scanning was approximately 5 seconds in length on the video, that’s 150 frames to work with, it was probably able to get what it needed from 150 frames, that’s a lot of frames.

@ohcnapjavelona For stuff like halo and call of duty, there is still a few ways natal could help. Order your units to do stuff by your voice, and to talk to others without a headset on your controller, which can be annoying, especially if you have the wired headset, as most do. Plus, the wireless ones, you don’t want to have even more to hook up to charge via usb, or if you have to use batteries and can’t charge is even worse, so natal is nice for replacing the headset.
